Church of Saint Martin

Eglise Collegiale Saint-Martin
France, Saint-Remy-de-Provence
St. Martin's Church was built in the 14th century, but in 1821 the church was rebuilt after its destruction. From the original building, only the bell tower, more than 45 meters high, and the chapel have been preserved. The church organ was completely restored in 1983 and participates in the annual Organ Festival. The Church of St. Martin in 1984 received the status of a historical monument of France.

The building of the Church of St. Martin itself (Eglise Saint-Martin) was erected in the neo-Greek style in 1821 (the previous building collapsed on the night of August 29.1818), but the bell tower was inherited from the 14th century. The cathedral is famous for its organ, which was restored in 1983 and consists of 5.000 pipes and three keyboards. Address: Boulevard Marceau. Free admission.
