The house of the family de Sade (Hotel de Sade) is located in the heart of the old town. It was built on the foundations of an ancient Roman building in the 15th century by the influential Provenç al de Sade family. It must be said that de Sade is a well-known Provencal surname, to which both Laura, sung by Petrarch, and the famous sadist Marquis de Sade belonged. Address: rue du Parage.
