Tbilisi has both a cable car and a funicular. The second one, as they say, is not for everyone, and inquisitive tourists need to master the ropeway by all means! Moreover, finding it is extremely simple: the lower station is located in Rike Park, next to the European Square, the upper one is near the Narikala fortress and the Mother Georgia (Mother Kartli) sculpture. Cabins can accommodate 6-8 people. They are exactly the same as on the famous cable car connecting Nizhny Novgorod and Bor. But if the trip across the Volga takes about 13 minutes, then the transfer over the Kura is only 4.
