The monument to the heroes of the cult film "Mimino" is located in the historical center of Tbilisi, Avlabari district. Opened in 2011. The sculpture represents the figures of the director of the film - Georgy Danelia, as well as the actors who played the main roles: Vakhtang Kikabidze, Evgeny Leonov and Frunzik Mkrtchyan. The famous sculptor Zurab Tsereteli became the author of the monument.

Dive straight into history

"Mimino" is a favorite film from the USSR.
The monument to movie heroes was opened in 2011. Personally, I love this film very much, and this sculpture evokes warm feelings and positive emotions for me. For some reason, I immediately remembered my childhood and the distant USSR. The monument is easy to find in the Avlabari park, not far from the metro.→
