The Asian Art Museum is located in Palaio Anaktora (mainly Chinese and Japanese art). Its unique collection is presented in 15 rooms with about 12,000 exhibits, including a collection of Greek Buddhists showing the influence of Alexander the Great on Buddhist culture as far as Pakistan.
Art collections include Japanese photographs, Chinese porcelain, Indian sculptures in bronze and other materials, and wood carvings.
