Anthony Quinn Bay is 4 km from the popular resort of Faliraki. The bay is named after the famous Mexican actor Anthony Quinn in the 1960s, who played one of the main roles in the 1964 film Zorba the Greek, which was filmed in Rhodes in this very place. Quinn in the film danced to the first sounded melody "Sirtaki" by composer Mikis Theodorakis, which has become one of the symbols of Greece. After a successful premiere, the actor settled in a house on the shore of this picturesque bay, where movie fans came. In 1966, part of the coastline was officially named Anthony Quinn Bay.
In the bay there is an equipped small-pebble beach with a shower and toilet, a cafe, umbrellas and sunbeds. Here, bizarrely shaped small rocks froze. The bottom near the shore is shallow, there are stones, but after a few meters the depth begins. There is a small tavern on the beach, a pay phone is installed.
