Despite the lack of world recognition, Anthony Quinn Bay has been attracting tourists from all over the world for decades with its amazing beauty. A small sand and pebble beach is surrounded on all sides by bizarre rocks covered with dense and lush vegetation. The bay, sufficiently deep into the shore, protects the beach from the wind and the clean, transparent water, which turns from pale blue and azure to emerald, is well warmed by the sun. The spectacularly protruding rocks create the impression of wild and untamed nature.
The bay has a small pier for ships coming here. But most excursion boats do not dock there, tourists prefer to swim by jumping into the warm, clear water right from the side of the ship. This is the most popular stop for excursion water routes that run along the east coast of the island. The beach itself is small, sandy and pebble, there are large boulders and flat stones. The entrance to the water is rocky, you will have to walk some distance to deep water, so you need to swim in special aqua shoes to avoid hurting your feet. For this reason, the beach is not suitable for children.
Thanks to the clear, calm water, rocky bottom and the surrounding rocks, Anthony Quinn Bay is ideal for diving. The world of underwater life and the most beautiful bottom begin right from the shore. Visibility under water here is at least 15 meters. There is a diving center on the beach with equipment rental.
