The old port is the same age as the city itself, it is the oldest place in all of Dubrovnik. The port is still active. But if earlier there was a brisk trade and ships were equipped, now the harbor is crammed with pleasure yachts and shiny boats, sea excursions to the islands are organized here. It is from here that you can take a short trip to the peacock island of Lokrum, which is described in another review. The port has a museum and an aquarium, as well as restaurants and cafes with picturesque views of the harbor and ramparts.
