We really liked these places, cool waterfalls, landscapes, divine. we will come back here again and again. A ticket is required to enter the park (there are ticket offices on the way to the park entrance). Tickets also entitle you to free boat rides on the lakes. During the season there may be no tickets at the box office, you need to buy in the city.

You can add, to the rest of the reviews, that the National Park is decorated with several caves. In some of them, traces of prehistoric man were found. Of particular interest are the caves located under the waterfalls. The flora and fauna of the park is rich and diverse: about 152 species of birds, numerous species of butterflies, small mammals, deer, bears, wolves, wild boars and wild cats. The flora of the Park is made up of about 1200 species of plants, of which about 50 species are orchids. Several hotels, motels and campsites have been built on the territory of the park, harmoniously blending into the landscape.

One of the most visited natural attractions in Europe. And it's definitely worth seeing. I traveled to Croatia by car, so I planned my trip with a stop at the lakes. At home, I prepared according to the inspection route and the approximate time for it. The map of the lakes is drawn on the entrance tickets. I entered through entrance 1. I went to parking lot P3. There she ate, rested (toilet). I got on the boat (the boat is included in the price of the entrance ticket). I swam across the lake to stop P2.

Practical points. I went to the Park on an organized tour. group from Opatija. Price - 65 euros. The road in one direction is about 3-3.5 hours. Mountain and sea landscapes were replaced by serpentines - it was not boring. On the way back there was a stop in a small village for tasting different varieties of cheese, honey and local spirits. We spent about 4-5 hours in the park itself. Numerous networks of footpaths are scattered throughout the park, along which you can walk indefinitely. In addition, there are routes of environmentally friendly electric trains, ferries and pleasure boats on electric traction.
