Varosliget is a park in Budapest near the Heroes' Square, a place for walking for Budapest residents and guests of the Hungarian capital. The famous Szechenyi baths, the capital's circus, the zoo, the Transport Museum, as well as the famous Gundel restaurant in Budapest, which is over 150 years old, are located in the Varosliget park.

Big and beautiful
The park is huge, shady and cozy. Many artificial lakes and fountains, benches, even saw sunbeds - everything for a peaceful rest in the shade of old trees. Walking through the park, you can see several architectural masterpieces of the capital at once - the Vajdahunyad castle and the Szechenyi baths.→

Quiet city park.
This is one of the main city parks in Budapest. It's not crowded, it's quiet and peaceful. The park is well-groomed, clean, with its own pond-lake, secluded benches and paths. It is here that the famous Szé chenyi baths, the Vajdahunyad castle and the Museum of Fine Arts are located. The park begins right behind the Heroes' Square, the end of the historic yellow metro line. Nearby is also the famous restaurant "Gundel". All in all, a good place to visit and relax.→

For passive and active recreation (whoever is closer)
Fans of passive-contemplative rest are recommended to walk in the shade of centuries-old trees and exhibitions of contemporary art (pictured are fragments of the "Flooded City" installation). For fans of outdoor activities - boating on the lake is offered in summer, and ice skating on the same lake in winter. For lovers of off-season joys, the Szé chenyi bath welcomes its visitors all year round.→
