Vajdahunyad Castle is a castle in Varosliget park. The castle was built from 1896 to 1908 by architect Ignaz Alpar. In the courtyard of the castle there is a statue of Anonymous, the unknown author of the Gesta Hungarorum chronicle. Also next to the castle is a monument to the architect of the castle, Ignaz Alpar. Currently, the Vajdahunyad Castle houses the Agricultural Museum.

Nice mix of styles
The place is atmospheric, despite the fact that it only copies famous architectural masterpieces. The most prominent part of this historic pavilion is the one that includes elements of the Transylvanian castle. Vajdahunyad Castle is surrounded by lakes, fountains, and a huge park is laid out around. In general, walking in this place is a pleasure)→

Beautiful scenery
This castle is the same props as the Fisherman's Bastion. When you don't know this, you can't understand where this strange mixture of temples, buildings, architectural styles came from. Beautiful, interesting. During our tour of the castle was filming a historical film. It was fun to watch the ladies in crinolines, who smoke cigarettes during the break and talk on mobile phones.→

Souvenir lovers
zhlaniya The accumulation of buildings in different architectural styles will be of interest to everyone who is interested in it. Very familiar buildings from many films. The photos come out amazing. Very good souvenir shops. In the shade of the trees is a statue of Anonymous, the queen's historian. If you rub his pen, then wishes come true. I guessed. Out of three, two came true!→

Castle architecture lovers
Why you should definitely see Vajdahunyad Castle? Well, firstly, in order to learn how to pronounce its name and not rearrange the letters into less decent options : ) Secondly, the castle is really beautiful. The same ancient beauty with turrets, a sense of antiquity and walls densely woven with ivy. I haven't been inside the castle. And the guide did not advise, and the Agricultural Museum did not inspire to visit.→
