Our tour began from the highest point of the city, which offers an incredible view of the Mediterranean Sea and the modern districts of Tel Aviv. There is also a sculptural composition based on biblical motifs - "Gate of Faith". Two pillars depict scenes from the life of the patriarchs.
On the one hand - Abraham, who was ready to sacrifice his son Isaac, on the other hand - Jacob's dream, in which God promises the Holy Land to his descendants. And on the pillars is a sculptural block, symbolizing the capture of Jericho - as the fulfillment of the promise given by God.
Jaffa is very rich in attractions - from the reconstruction of the "Entrance to the Fortress" from the time of the Egyptian pharaoh Ramses II, the Ilana Gur Museum, churches of different faiths, to the Zodiac Fountain, which appeared on Kdumim Square in 2011. And some streets are named after the signs of the zodiac (I found fish and captured them).
After exploring churches, temples and mosques, you can walk to the entertainment complex of the old railway station, sit in a restaurant or cafe, or go to the Abulafia bakery. And from the bakery, be sure to go to the Flea Market and buy souvenirs.
