The Palazzo del Popolo was conceived as the center of the political and administrative life of the city. Designed by the architect Amos Lucchetti Gentiloni, the building is characterized by a modernist, but at the same time classical style, designed to convey order, authority and rationality. Built during the fascist dictatorship, the palace vividly reflects the architectural features of that time. In the courtyard, memorial plaques are installed in honor of the city's awarding of the gold medal for merit during World War II and to citizens who died at work.→
