We lived near Kronplatz, in San Vigilio di Marebbe, and for one day we went to Arabba, which is relatively close. From Arabba you can ski around the Sella Ronda, or you can go over the mountain to the top of Marmolada (3250). We did not decide on Ronda, but “Marmelado”, as the child dubbed it, was the very thing. Free parking in Arabba was found significantly above the ski lifts, to the right of the road. Arabba, like Corvara, seems to be a very cozy place to live. Living between two mountains is a dream.→
