The National Archaeological Museum of Naples, located on the Museum Square (Piazza Museo), is famous primarily for the unique archaeological finds that were found in Pompeii, Herculaneum and Stabiae - these are the famous frescoes, and Pompeian mosaics. There are also collections of ancient Egyptian and ancient Greek valuables. The Museum building was built in 1586.

At first we were on a tour of Pompeii, and then we went to the museum ourselves. That's the most interesting thing. In Pompeii you will see copies, but you will imagine where everything is, and in the museum look at the originals. The museum is very large, plan at least 4-5 hours for it. Don't miss the "secret room" for adults : ) Well, so that everything is completely clear, I advise you to re-read the myths of Ancient Greece before the trip.
