Porta Capuana is the ancient gate to Naples, part of the city's fortified wall. The gate is located next to Capuano Castle. The Porta Capuana gate was built between 1484 and 1488 by order of King Ferdinand of Aragon. Their architecture was carried out by the Tuscan sculptor-architect Giuliano da Maiano.

The gate is named after the neighboring castle. Built in the 14th century by the Florentine Giuliano da Maiano. The visit is included in the sightseeing tour. And if you are on your own, then they are not far from the railway station and through them start your tour of Naples.
