Piazza Barberini was created in the 16th century and is located between the Quirinal Hill and the Gardens of Sallust. The square is named after the Barberini Palace, which was commissioned by Pope Urban VIII. In the center of the square is the Triton Fountain, created in 1642 by Lorenzo Bernini. And in 1980, the Barberini metro station was built under the square.
