Wadi Rum is a desert in Jordan, 60 km from Aqaba. It belongs to the stony deserts and covers an area of 74,180 hectares. In some places, the desert turns into a semi-desert with individual dry trees and shrubs. The highest peak is Mount Um ad-Dami with a height of 1830 m.
