Forest Lake Lilaste is located 1.5 km from the coast of the same name and 30 km from Riga. The length of the lake from north to south is 1.5 km, from west to east - 1.2 km. In the southern part, Lake Lilaste, through a narrow channel about 1 km long, is connected to Lake Dunyas. In the north, Lake Lilaste is connected to the Gulf of Riga of the Baltic Sea through a long channel.

The coniferous forest surrounding the lake, its clear water and sandy beaches with small dunes make it possible to organize a great vacation here. Most of the objects of such infrastructure are concentrated on the western bank, not far from the Riga-Tallinn highway.
Here you can rent catamarans, boats and kayaks, you can go water skiing. In season, you can go picking mushrooms and berries. Piers for fishermen are also equipped on the lake and even summer and winter fishing competitions are held.

Long road in the dunes

The coast of Lilaste is restoring better spa complexes - and, mind you, completely free of charge. Sand dunes, coniferous forests full of mushrooms and berries, fresh sea - and many discoveries along the way. This is definitely our favorite place in Latvia.→
