Nidaros Cathedral

Nidarosdomen, Nidaros Cathedral, Nidaros Domkirke
Norway, Trondheim
Nidaros Cathedral in Trondheim is the most significant church in Norway; the coronations of monarchs took place here. The construction of the cathedral began in 1070 and was completed only at the beginning of the 14th century. Due to repeated fires to which the building of the cathedral was exposed, it had to be rebuilt several times. The last restoration was completed only in 2001.

One of the earliest Christian cathedrals - it was built from the 11th century, so the entourage inside is appropriate. In general, it’s quite interesting, besides, with an additional ticket, you can climb the spiral staircase up and look at the city
