Unlike the Khoynovskaya tower, the Glogovskaya tower was built over the entrance gate to the city of the same name. Moreover, it appeared on the site of an older structure erected in the 13th century. Interestingly, in the next century, Legnica was completely surrounded by high walls. Thanks to EU subsidies, reconstruction was carried out in 2008-2012, and the tower is in good condition. The tower is available for visiting. It currently serves as a tourist information centre.
