Herring houses (kamyanitsy), also known as herring houses (Kamienice Sledziowe - Sledziowki) - a complex of eight three-storey historic apartment buildings located in the market quarter in Legnica, in the immediate vicinity of the Old Town Hall. This is a complex of Renaissance (four) and Classicist (four) apartment buildings, probably built in the 16th century on the site of former herring stalls (the first mention of their existence dates back to 1574). The variety of styles is the result of numerous renovations that influenced these buildings over the following centuries.→
