The monument to the prominent Polish poet and playwright Juliusz Sł owacki, by sculptor Edward Wittig, was unveiled in 2001 on the site of the monument to Felix Dzerzhinsky, demolished in 1989. The figure of the poet was cast in bronze based on a model kept in the collection of the National Museum in Warsaw, made in 1932 for the monument in Lviv.→
