The monument to the defenders of Warsaw in the form of the goddess of victory Niki with a sword in her hands is installed in front of one of the largest theaters in Europe. The goddess of victory Niki, with a raised sword to strike and a raised hand, symbolizes the heroic defense of Warsaw and is one of the brightest and most expressive monuments dedicated to the Second World War. The author is sculptor Marian Konieczny. The monument was cast by the Gliwice Plant and was solemnly opened on July 22.→
