The fortress of the 14th century, the so-called Old Town Uzhice, is located on a mountain, which can only be climbed from one side - from Gradska Street. From the side of the Uzhice-Zlatibor highway, at first it seemed to me that it was just a rock of a bizarre shape, similar in outline to human buildings, such an impregnable fortress and, unfortunately, poorly preserved. The fortress was destroyed in 1863 by the Ottoman troops leaving Uzhice, so that in the future the fortress could not be used for military purposes.→
