The house-museum "Stalin's Dacha" is one of the most beloved summer residences of the leader, which was built in 1937. The dacha is located on the top of a mountain range between the Matsesta Valley and the Agur Gorge. The appearance of the house, the interiors, the surrounding garden - everything remained untouched, as it was under Stalin. In all rooms of the residence, the original interior decoration made of precious woods, authentic chandeliers, Stalin's sofa, made on his special order, and a silver writing set presented to Stalin by Mao Tse-tung, have been preserved.

On the ground floor there is a restaurant "Stalin's Dacha". Nowadays, most of the rooms have been transformed into a hotel, where anyone can stay overnight, swim in the leader's pool and play in his billiard room.

We went with a tour, we liked it
The tour is available - 300 rubles, without a tour you will not be allowed to walk. There was a repair-restoration, because it is planned to turn this place into something like a hotel. I think it will be interesting to be in a place where this man rested and thought.→
