triple bridge

Slovenia, Ljubljana
Arch bridge in the historical center of the capital of Slovenia. In fact, it consists of three footbridges across the Ljubljanica River, hence the name. The Triple Bridge is the link between City Square and Prešeren Square. The first bridge was built in the middle of the 19th century. In the next century, there was a need to expand the bridge, but the city authorities decided to keep it in its original form, and two new ones were built parallel to the "old" bridge. In 2007, traffic on the Triple Bridge was closed.

An unusual bridge, or rather three bridges in one bottle, there is probably no such combination anywhere else. It connects the central squares of the city of Ljubljana - City Square and Preš eren Square. It is one of the main symbols of the city. There are always a lot of people there. The bridge is entirely owned by pedestrians walking slowly along it, although until 2007 it was a travel bridge.
