Bratislava is famous for its unusual attractions, which were established by the city authorities in order to make the city more attractive from a tourist point of view. At the small intersection of Panska and Laurinska streets is probably the most popular statue, from which the decoration of the streets of Bratislava with funny sculptures began. Finding them, taking pictures next to them and rubbing them in the right, "magical" places is the sacred duty of every traveler who comes to Bratislava. You may not see Bratislava Castle, but you must sit on the pavement next to Chumil.

Chumil is called the cheerful spirit of Bratislava, which is embodied by modern sculptor Viktor Gulik in an unusual sculpture. To see it, you need to look closely at your feet. However, its presence is indicated by a road sign installed above it for inattentive drivers who ran into a work of bronze art a couple of times and broke it.
So, a sewer hatch is made on the pavement, half covered with a cover. From it comes a good-natured man in a hat, which locals call Chumil, visitors call a plumber or plumber, and the author himself considers Rozyava.

The monument was unveiled on July 26.1997 and has since acquired several legends. For example, citizens are convinced that if you rub the tip of the hat Rozyava, you can count on the fulfillment of desires, and if the nose - then good luck in life.
