Chaupho Chapel

Chaupho Chapel is located in the northern bay of Khlong Son, near the city pier. The chapel was built in honor of the spirit Chaupho, the guardian of the island, who helps in difficulties and illnesses. The building is made in Chinese style, a pair of large elephants stand guard at the entrance. In the center of the chapel there is an altar, where the inhabitants of the island, trying to appease the spirit, bring him all sorts of offerings - flowers, fruits, candles.
