Since our hotel is located five kilometers from the waterfall, we decided to walk to it. We were lucky with the weather, it rained in the morning and the clouds had not yet scattered, the sun was not very hot. After turning from the main road, the route becomes more picturesque, there are fences on both sides, there are “elephant paths” - those who wish to ride on elephants. The Park is about two kilometers from the road, the ticket office is a ticket for two hundred baht (for locals, ten times less, of course), and here you are on the trail. I advise you to get out there not on a day off, there are a lot of people walking, mostly shod in slippers, and the path is narrow and overtaking them is a chore.
You can swim not only at the foot of the waterfall, there are a couple of convenient places along the way, it is allowed, ropes hang for easy getting out of the water.
Of course, I'm sure that no one in this place is going to litter, so just for information: for all possible outrageous fines start from five hundred baht and a month in prison.
And the vodka is good! Against the backdrop of the local weather, it's so cold, fresh : ))
This walk took us three and a half hours, but we were in no hurry.
