Doi Inthanon National Park is considered to be one of the most beautiful national parks in Thailand. The park has a great variety of flora and fauna. About 400 species of tropical birds, rare species of monkeys and bears live here. On the territory of the park "Doi Inthanon" is the highest mountain in Thailand with the same name, rising more than 2500 meters above sea level. On the slopes of the mountain there are two Buddhist temples built in the late 20th century in honor of the king and his wife.
