Nong Nooch Tropical Park

Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden
Thailand, Pattaya
Nong Nooch Tropical Park is 600 acres of botanical gardens and local attractions located at km 163 of Sukhumvit Road in Chonburi province near the resort town of Pattaya.

In 1954, Mr. Peesit and Mrs. Nong Nooch Tansaka purchased about 600 acres of land in Chonburi province. Initially, it was planned to create fruit and vegetable plantations, but later it was decided to focus the park on tourists, and restaurants, bungalows, swimming pools, banquet halls, etc. were created. And already in 1980, the park was open to everyone. And since 2001, the son of Mrs. Nong Nooch, Kampon Tansaka, has become the director of the park.

The park includes: Orchid Garden, Cactus Garden, French Park, Butterfly Garden, Elephant Farm, Bird Garden, Aquatic Plant Garden, Bonsai Garden, Pot Garden, Blue Palm and Fern Garden, Stonehenge and Nong Nooch's son's car park, which includes about 40 cars on two floors of a specialized car park.

This winter I was in Pattaya for the first time, I always rested in Phuket. In Pattaya I liked it less than in Phuket, it was somehow dirty, but in Nong-Nuch we saw some kind of parallel reality, very beautiful! There are a lot of parks inside, shows of elephants that play football, in general, we were delighted, the territory is large, so it’s better to ride on special cars! but worth a visit

Honored with a guy in Thailand tour, "Orchid Park". We went to Pattaya, well, there are simply no words, how beautiful it is there. I advise everyone, you will not regret it. A huge area, and what is there just not! A huge collection of cars of the former king (you can safely come up and take a picture and touch), elephants walk (you can ride), you can take a bicycle with two seats (very fun), the orchid park itself is not very big, but very beautiful. You can touch live tigers for money and take pictures with them in an embrace! There is a bell that grants wishes! (on the mountain), and Volte in this park there are many beautiful places for photography.

A great place to visit on your own or with a tour. I confess honestly what I liked about this place - there were excellent opportunities to borrow a lot of plants in the form of sprouts. In addition, it is certainly a lot of interesting photos. I love orchids, but here you can see and smell them right with garlands, there is a huge farm of them, where under the cover they still grow small ones (who is smarter and does not want to pay can easily snatch one or the other : ) )

A large and beautiful park, divided into many themed areas and gardens. The park was created by wealthy Chinese immigrant Madame Nong Nooch for the Thais, because the Thai people rarely can afford to travel far. Here you can see all kinds of rare and not very tropical plants, see, for example, a recreated Stonehenge, or see the motifs of the French Versailles. The entire territory of the park is kept in perfect condition. The park literally fills with countless figures of various animals, beautiful paths, bridges and crossings.
