The Buchach castle was built at the end of the 14th century from red sandstone. For a long time it served as a family castle of the Polish magnates Buchatsky and then Potocki. In 1672 the castle was destroyed by the Turks. Currently, among the ruins of the castle, you can find the remains of the palace, as well as fragments of towers and walls.
