The monument to the plumber is located at the entrance to the building of the Cherkasy water utility. It was installed in 2004 for the 90th anniversary of its operation. The cast-iron monument is a figure of a plumber in a cap climbing out of a sewer well. The master holds a key in his hand, and next to it are a drinking tap and a hatch with the inscription "I gave you water." The locals lovingly call the monument "Uncle Vasya".
