Shidlovsky's palace is located on the outskirts of the village of Stary Merchik, 30 kilometers west of Kharkov. It was built in 1788 and belonged to the noble family of Shidlovsky, large landowners. The two-story building is made in a classical style and is surrounded by a magnificent park.

Currently, the palace does not belong to anyone and is in poor condition.
