The Bernardine church was built in 1620 according to the plan of the monk B. Avelida. Finishing work continued until 1630. The church was built of hewn stone in the form of a three-nave basilica, the lower tier of the facade is decorated in the traditions of the Renaissance. The interior of the cathedral is decorated with wall paintings and gilding. The carved benches, dated 1640-1641, have not been preserved, but their exact copy was made at the beginning of the 20th century. The church building was restored in 1970.

Lush, spacious, bright

There was a service, so I did not dare to poke my nose into all corners. The courtyard behind the temple is interesting and photogenic.→
