Basilian Monastery is located in the center of Zhovkva between St. Lawrence Church and Zhovkva Synagogue. It was built in 1612. Initially, the monastery was built in the Renaissance style and was part of the defense complex, but the reconstruction at the beginning of the 20th century turned it into a Byzantine temple. It is distinguished by a magnificent iconostasis and wall paintings. Now the monastery belongs to the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church.
