The Exaltation Church is located in the center of Gorodok, a district center located 30 kilometers west of Lviv. It was built in 1753 on the site of an old wooden church founded in the 15th century. The church combines elements of Gothic, Baroque and Modernism. The facade of the building is decorated with sculptures of the Mother of God, as well as the apostles Peter and Paul.
