Odessa seaport

Port of Odessa, Odessa Marine Trade Port
Ukraine, Odesa
Odessa seaport has one of the largest passenger terminals in Europe and is the base cruise port of Ukraine. The construction of the port began in 1794, and by 1905 it acquired its modern look. The port suffered significant damage during World War II and played an important role during the siege of Odessa in 1941. Today, the port consists of more than 9 kilometers of berths and 100 floating and gantry cranes. Here is the Odessa Hotel and Potemkin Stairs.

You can be convinced that "steamboats are seen off in a completely different way than trains" by going to the Odessa Seaport (it will be especially lucky if a multi-storey cruise liner is moored here at this time). To be honest, the building of the Seaport could do with a small renovation that would freshen up its interior and exterior. But, in general, you can have a good time on the territory of the Seaport - drink beer and have an inexpensive snack at a bar or at a local restaurant (set lunch from 50 UAH! ), look at the exhibition of anchors and cannons (free of charge), take a selfie against the backdrop of yachts, a monument a sailor's wife and a giant bronze child; go to the church of St.
