Odessa Museum of Numismatics was opened in 1999. It is dedicated to the history of money circulation and monetary business. The museum collection contains more than 2.5 thousand exhibits. Of particular value is the collection of ancient coins minted in the Greek city-states of the Northern Black Sea region. Also interesting is the collection of antique ceramics. The museum publishes its own periodical - "Bulletin of the Odessa Museum of Numismatics".
