Nicholas Church is located in the very center of the city. It was built in 1666. The building of the temple, combining elements of Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque, also carried defensive functions. The 42-meter church bell tower is equipped with loopholes. Under the Soviet regime, the temple was closed, a warehouse was located here, and then a furniture store. Only in 1991 the church was returned to the Roman Catholic community.
