The Cosmonautics Museum opened on August 1, 1970. It consists of the Korolev memorial house-museum, the Cosmos exposition building, and the Storage Fund and the Planetarium, which are under construction. The memorial house-museum is located in the house where the future academician grew up. The Cosmos exposition, opened on June 1, 1991, presents samples of space technology, astronaut equipment, as well as archival documents and photographs.

The museum was opened recently, only in 1991. Not a baby, but still a child by museum standards. Unexpectedly, there are a lot of real exhibits that have been in space and returned from there, mostly ships and capsules. A life-size Soyuz hangs from the ceiling. Below is a moon rover. If they had not said that the model, I would not have suspected ...By the way, the wheels were made at the Kharkov bicycle factory. Half the effect of the museum is a tour. They tell not only facts about successes and breakthroughs, but also about realities.
