I bought a three-day trip to Finland from a travel agency, to a 4 * spa hotel with a room rate of 90 euros / day in the city of Imatra with a trip to Savonlinna and Lappeenranta. I hoped that I would like a sauna, swim in the pool and learn something new about the neighboring country. My dreams were not destined to come true: the guide - Pavlova Tatyana Vasilievna - knew absolutely nothing about the history of Finland or Savonlinna, she talked about how "Suvorov's army descended from the Alpine mountains on plastic plates" and that "Alexander Vasilyevich Suvorov's father was called Vasiliy".
