Through Portugal by car to the south coast of the Algarve
I want to share my impressions and notes about traveling by car through Portugal! It all started in Berlin, boarded a plane to Lisbon, low-cost JetAir. The ticket is not expensive, but departure or arrival at an inconvenient time happens. Upon arrival at the airport, we got on the bus shuttle of the rental company and after 10 minutes arrived at the car rental office. It is important to understand what different insurances can add and the cost of renting a car will increase! For 5 euros, they connected an electronic system for the passage of toll roads, you go without stopping through the malls - very convenient, saving time! Diesel cost 1.25 per liter, in total we drove about 900 km in both directions. The roads are comfortable, there were no traffic jams.

It is very convenient and comfortable to travel around Portugal by car, it is possible to cover the country in the best way! A car for rent is not at all expensive, I booked for 10 euros per day (Skoda Fabia), but on the spot I changed it to a large one for 16 euros (Renault Megan is brand new), because there were three of us with a child and 3 suitcases! In Lisbon, there are free parking lots near the sights, and the same is true on the coast.
