I took a taxi from the airport in 15 minutes. Including the night rate 23 Euro. You could also take the subway, I still had time. But she was careful. I'm alone, and what a criminogenic situation there is not in the know! Turns out I was worried for nothing! Quiet, peaceful, crowded. young people, quite peacefully disposed, walk until late at night. You can safely take the metro, even if you arrive at night. The metro station is nearby, 5 minutes on foot, with a suitcase a maximum of 7!
Liked the hotel. Simple, no frills, but very clean. Family business. An elderly man at the reception is the owner, his wife is the maid, and their daughter (granddaughter? ). There is also a night porter, he is a hired employee and the only one who speaks English. But it's okay, explained on the fingers, they understood each other very well!

Booked Single. They gave me a room with a big bed. I was pleasantly surprised, because in the photo of the single rooms, the crib was one and a half, much more modest. Pillows to choose from: bigger and firmer and small and soft. Blankets included. There is an air conditioner that works both for heating and cooling. A very useful thing! At night I warmed up the room, then turned off the air conditioner so that it would not buzz. Although, in principle, it works quite quietly, almost silently. TV flat. There are no Russian channels. Yes, they are not needed. Porto is such a beautiful city, there is so much to see, and you can even have TV at home! The closet is large, there are enough coat hangers. There is no safe. She asked if I could leave money and documents in a safe at the reception, they were surprised, they said, of course, you can, but no one steals here. It goes without saying, a family business! You won't steal from yourself. At first I wanted to leave at the reception, then changed my mind. I hid everything valuable in a suitcase under the lock and calmed down.
Of the detergents, only shower gel over the bath and hand gel over the washbasin. Towels are changed daily. There is no hair dryer, but you can ask at the reception - they give it.
Breakfast is poor in assortment, but all products are very high quality, fresh and very tasty. Crispy buns, croissants, sweet buns, one type of hard cheese, processed cheese in triangles, ham, strawberry jam, orange juice, coffee, tea, milk, muesli cereal. Approaches can be done as many as you like, no one looks askance and does not look into the mouth. I saw the breakfast staff only once, when they replenished the food eaten. Personally, breakfast is good for me. Because my favorite breakfast: cheese with bread and coffee, then I was quite full.
But the most valuable thing is the location of the hotel. Right in the center, a 2-minute walk from the beautiful Sao Bento Station (Estacao Sao Bento), 5 minutes to the metro, opposite the Bandeira Theater. On the street of the same name Rua S? Da Bandeira has many cafes and shops, it is crowded until late at night, well lit, it is not scary to return late.
I had an evening flight. According to the rules, you need to vacate the room before 12 noon, asked if I could stay until 14:00, they allowed me without hesitation and completely free of charge!
In summary, I want to say: I had a good time there. If you are a tireless traveler who leaves early in the morning and returns to the hotel late in the evening, then this hotel is very suitable for a city trip. The price is just ridiculous! The price/quality ratio exceeded my expectations. Also, the hotel is very quiet. Either the soundproofing is good, or the guests are quiet. Throughout my stay, I had the feeling that I was alone in the hotel. And only at breakfast I was still convinced that the hotel was 100% full.
