People, how do you live in Chelyabinsk?????? ? Already 70 km from the city there is such a smog and such a stink, and even in the city itself, it’s so scary in general. You can't even see the buildings. And swamps, swamps, from Novosibirsk to the Urals. Mosquitoes bite in these cities, just horror! But after the Urals, a fairy tale! Southern nature is already beginning, the air is cleaner, there are many pleasant cafes, ice cream for 20 rubles of good quality. And what dairy products in Saratov, Samara and beyond are delicious! In the south, gasoline is more expensive than ours, but everywhere there are watermelons and melons with melons, wonderful heat and not so long distances between cities. You rent an apartment, make a reservation, see good photos of the apartment, arrive in the dark hungry and tired, and you are taken to an apartment that has been rented out hundreds of times, and there may not be hot water. In Tyukalinsk, we looked at two rooms in a rather nice hotel, clean, there is a kitchen with a stove, a shower and a toilet in the room. Paid. I take a towel and go to the shower. Does not work. The husband tries to turn it on - it does not work. We go to the owner, and he: “Oh, do you want to wash? But the shower doesn’t work. The water gets here for now, it’s getting stinky, it’s turned off, but go downstairs, there’s a scent on the floor for truckers. Do you also want to wash your hair? "Well, if the shampoo is mild, try it! Just need to wash quickly, otherwise there won't be enough water for everyone. " I'm shocked. We paid 2.000 for this. For us, it's not that cheap. My head, and the water is boiling water, and salty. The husband washed his head with soap - the hair stood on end, like a salty hedgehog. Laughing what else to do.
Omsk Region
Early in the morning we drive towards the Urals. Trucks, trucks, narrow road, fog, but beautiful. But for a very long time. After the mountains, we break out onto a wide highway, and then we are stopped by traffic cops. We are calm, because we follow the rules. But it turned out that they violated: they overtook the truck, and there was a sign of repair work. Fine - 5.000 rubles and spoiled mood... By the way, in those places all our friends had fines. The truck was moving slowly, like a turtle, but for some reason the sign was not visible. And then we change the plan and visit Zlatoust in the evening. In the city, all the apartments are occupied, we are tired, the child is hungry, we are angry. We found an apartment, but it’s scary to sit on a worn sofa, it’s disgusting to climb into the bath. We wash it off, because just standing up with your feet is another test. But there is nothing to do. We spend the night, but we don’t sleep well all night, some drug addicts walk in the yard and they look like mentally ill people. We can only get through the night. The next stop was planned in Zhigulevsk, but I called the renters of Syzran and Zhigulevsk, mixed up all the numbers and cities, the phones were running low, the Internet was not stable, as a result, they were looking for an apartment using a navigator in Zhigulevsk, and she ended up in Syzran. I had to drive another hour to Syzran. But we were lucky with the apartment: everything is clean, there are three rooms, two balconies (although we didn’t need them at night), it’s quiet at night, no one sits on the bench and doesn’t drink, the youth doesn’t rumble, and everyone sleeps in the morning on the day off. Nobody. Marvelous. On the way to Krasnodar, we got confused in the routes, the navigator sent us a short way through Lugansk. Thank you, we're better through Volgograd. Next stop in Volgograd. The house is elite, but around it there are wastelands and packs of dogs. We saw the Motherland, but, alas, there was no time to visit it. Krasnodar greeted us with heat, but I love this kind of weather. For almost a week we lived with friends in the country (thank you, Evgenia Petrovna, they sheltered us! ), where in the evenings mosquitoes simply ate us, to the cones, but in the shade of fruit trees, the heat was not felt at all during the day. Pears, apples, grapes, blackberries, strawberries, figs (though still greenish), olives - just a paradise for us Siberians! A couple of days later visited Anapa. If you're going to drive south, you might need a little experience from those who've already traveled that route. Before the trip, I looked for reviews and reviews, watched a video, but found little information about where it is better to stay for the night, what cafes there are, etc. They only advise you to eat and sleep where the trucks are. I think you should not rely only on the tastes of truckers. We went into one cafe in the Urals, I went up to the trays with food, and there, fly and cockroaches crawl right over the food. Ural Mountains
I recommend a very pleasant cafe "Bruder" near the highway from Krasnoyarsk to Krasnodar (sorry, I don't remember the exact location, it's in the Omsk region). They cook deliciously, there is a place to wash your hands with soap, the staff is a friendly woman of about 50), clean, the portions are large. We ate borscht, hodgepodge, bought pies with cabbage and meat. Ice cream costs 25 rubles, delicious ice cream.

An excellent dining room at the Aleksandr hotel (if I'm not mistaken in the name) in the Saratov region. It looks solid, as if you are somewhere not in a dining room, but in a hotel in Turkey. The food is very tasty, except for the local khachapuris, which do not have cheese. Prices are not low, but quite adequate. In Chelyabinsk, I do not recommend the Seventh Heaven Hotel. I called, booked a room, asked several times if there was a shower in the room and a toilet, we arrived, in front of us was a terrible Stalinist building, the entrance was shabby, the hotel itself was located on the top floor, the room was without a shower and toilet. All this is nearby, in the next room. There is no hot water in the shower. The sink with a faucet is such that it is difficult to wash your hands in it.
Seventh Heaven Hotel in Chelyabinsk
The hostess supposedly gave me a discount on the phone. According to her, this room costs 1900, but it turned out that the real price is 1300, but there were four of us with a child, the night cost 1500 rubles.
They cheat very often. I recommend arriving a little earlier, booking several hotels at once, so that there are several options.
