There were several hotels to choose from, but for the price and location, the children and I chose Kievskaya. Easy to get to, quiet area, close to shops. We stayed in an economy room with shared facilities. They were satisfied. The hotel is clean and comfortable. Quiet. The staff is polite. When checking in, it turned out at a neighbor that the lock on the door was junk, then I asked - I spoke for 15 minutes, they sent a master and he fixed everything. Toilet and shower not far from the room. The conditions are quite comfortable, there is a washbasin in the room.
Good breakfasts, a large selection of dishes - and vegetable salads, and porridge, and various snacks and even sweets. We didn't even expect this.
Minuses? I don’t even know if it’s a minus . . elevator 1... when a lot of guests leave, you have to wait. But for those whose legs allow it, you can also walk along the stairs, I think it's okay. Everyone is happy, everyone liked it. If we still decide to go to St. Petersburg (and we dream about it), then with a calm soul we will again choose Kievskaya. Why overpay for the pomposity of the hotel, it is better to spend extra money on excursions

Nutrition. For breakfast, you could at least somehow diversify: at least instead of an omelet, scrambled eggs or other porridge, except for oatmeal (although porridge, to be fair, is delicious). For lunch, all dishes with hops-suneli spice, including borscht.
The smell in the room, as if they had just poisoned the bugs, even the open windows did not help.
Gloomy and disgruntled guards. They opened the exit for the bus with a latent delay of 10-15 minutes and a facial expression, as if they were doing us an unreal favor

The hotel lived in an excellent room, 2 separate beds, conditions in the room. Clean, fresh, sockets work, everything is in order with plumbing, there was always hot water. There is a TV, minus no refrigerator. On the ground floor there is a restaurant-bar, breakfast is normal in the morning, you will not go hungry. For a fee, you can buy something at the bar.
I'll come again!

Didn't like absolutely everything. - the ratio of price (considerable) and quality, or rather its complete absence (a shabby room, a five-year-old renovation has already "faded"). - no internet, apparently distributed wi-fi is enough only for the computer to work at the reception - the indifference of the staff to the problems of visitors (realizing that the computer at the reception would not boot, I asked the receptionist to help me print tickets to the Hermitage, which we bought on the Internet. … More ▾ Didn't like absolutely everything.
- the ratio of price (considerable) and quality, or rather its complete absence (a shabby room, a five-year-old renovation has already "faded").
- no internet, apparently distributed wi-fi is enough only for the computer to work at the reception
- the indifference of the staff to the problems of visitors (realizing that the computer at the reception would not boot, I asked the receptionist to help me print tickets to the Hermitage, which we bought on the Internet. She shrugged her shoulders and said that if it was not possible here, then she could not help may not print through your computer.
- there is no housekeeping. Apparently, the proximity of the bus station allowed the hotel staff to think that this was a rooming house and that bed linen could not be changed for people. For 4 nights of stay, the bed was simply made up, but the linen was not changed. I am shocked by such horror. Towels were changed once, and even then only partially, and shampoo was reported. And the apotheosis - upon check-in, they found a cookie under the table, if anyone has not guessed yet - after check-out, it was still lying there, i. e. The room was simply not cleaned at all.
- no air conditioning, do not open the windows - around the clock wild noise from the road will not let you sleep.
- the food is disgusting, monotonous - firstly, partially not fresh (vegetables) - secondly. The mode of operation of the so-called "restaurant" is generally amazing - it is written until 21, they came at 20, and it is closed. The receptionist said that since we did not order dinner (they will not tell you about this when checking in, keep in mind), the restaurant closes earlier. Why then write a mode of operation that does not correspond to reality at all remains a mystery.
We are not picky, we lived in hotels of different levels, but for 3500 per day we expected a slightly better level of service. In the regions, hotels are a hundred times better than this one. And it's not on the periphery of the city, but almost in the center. I strongly do not recommend to anyone who wants to stay more than a day. It will do for the night to spend the night, and even then with a decrease in the price tag.

We went on a bus tour, stayed at the Kievskaya Hotel. The hotel is quiet, clean, near the metro station. Obvodny canal, near the bus station, shops. The room was on the 3rd floor, with amenities. The room itself is small but cozy, snow-white linen, comfortable bed, TV, wi-fi. We had breakfast - a buffet, excellent food, scrambled eggs, various cereals, several types of salads, sausages, cheese, various vegetables, herring, tea and coffee, muffins, sweets, pancakes, for every taste! Cleaning every day, the staff is unobtrusive, but all requests were quickly fulfilled. … More ▾ We went on a bus tour, stayed at the Kievskaya Hotel. There is no shower cabin, but just a place with a drain separated from the toilet by a curtain. Plumbing equipment is new. Nothing leaks, everything works fine.

Wonderful hotel! Good service, friendly staff, delicious food! An excellent combination of price and quality! Hotel staff easily go to meet the client! I was lucky to be in a deluxe apartment instead of a booked room. When we were told about this at the front desk and we thought it was some kind of mistake, but everything turned out to be true : ) The rooms, as I noticed, are cleaned with high quality, the maids are responsive and will always help if something is spilled / broken / dirty. True, we managed to find a third remote control for two TVs between the beds in the room : ) And there is an interesting situation with hot water, judging by the guest book, some guests are very impatient and cannot wait until the hot water "rise". we were also surprised at its absence at first, but at the reception they quickly explained this feature to us and there were no more problems.
The breakfasts are very tasty and hearty if you wish - you can eat for the whole day, but we took only pancakes and buns that taste amazing instead of salads and meatballs with rice, as walking is worse with a full stomach, and therefore, I would like to see more in the restaurant light meals for breakfast : )
The view from the windows of the hotel, unfortunately, is not the most picturesque, especially to the bus station, but they don’t choose neighbors...... and good double-glazed windows and air conditioners save from its noise, though in rooms where there are no air conditioners, it would not be bad to provide ear plugs : )
So far, the city center can be reached from the hotel first by bus, and then by metro, but soon a new metro station should open nearby. I hope that when the "Bypass Canal" is built, the prices in the hotel will not skyrocket : )
Great hotel for every pocket! Some may be lucky like us and for their money they get a more comfortable room : )
Someday we will go to St. Petersburg again and stop only at Kievka, one of the most balanced hotels in terms of price / quality ratio!

The shower-toilet is a single room with a curtain and a hole in the floor. When I got to my room, there was unflushed urine in the toilet. Can you imagine how she smelled? Soviet plumbing.
The room is dirty, the old Soviet wallpaper is cracked, the bed in the single room is almost like a child's bed. Legs dangled. Carpet on the floor is old. And most importantly - the room was smoky! I am a non-smoker, so I had to sleep with the window open and the window facing the front.
There is only one outlet in the room! She's not even near the washbasin! I dried my hair with a hairdryer in the room, after unplugging the TV from the outlet. This should be critical for girls - in this hotel you will not do your hair. Keep in mind.
The guard is a separate song. It smelled like a perfume shop. When I parked the car in front of the entrance, he got out and said that there was a paid place here - 150 rubles. When asked what was included in the price, he replied: "I'll look after the car. " Naturally, the payment is in his hands. I spat on his orders and re-parked the car further.
Breakfast vouchers. Ooh, it's a printed voucher with numbers stamped out (you know, like on bus tickets - each voucher has a new number). The date of breakfast and the number of the room are written on that number. It would be better if the money spent on printing coupons was spent on improving the comfort of the hotel.
Breakfast will not describe: pasta and sausages. Plus cutting. On the tables - tablecloths are not the first freshness. On the walls of the "edalni" there are painted Khokhols and Khokhlukhs in the best traditions of Soviet oil painting on the wall.
Yes, they write everywhere - the Internet. Yep, there is wifi. 200 rubles for one hour! !
