The size of the room made a huge impression. We booked an improved one, which cost only 200 rubles more than the standard one, and did not regret it at all.
1) - 15% discount when booking from the site (now this is a ridiculous price in St. Petersburg)
2) a decent breakfast for a 3* hotel (cereal, hot, butter, jam, tea, coffee, milk, different every day: scrambled eggs, pancakes and casserole)
3) near the subway
4) next to the Neva (walked in the evenings)
so everything is cool!
