Breakfast is normal, we ate, not a buffet, but in portions, the waiters bring.
The staff is friendly, ready to help in all matters, I really liked the restaurant at the Lotos hotel. Read about it on the Internet. A famous Chef from Beijing works! ) The portions are huge, the price is low)))
The hotel is near the metro station, next to the Neva River in a quiet location.
The windows overlooked the street - but cars don't drive much, although Novocherkassky Prospekt is nearby))
In general, I advise!
Good hotel for reasonable prices

The size of the room made a huge impression. We booked an improved one, which cost only 200 rubles more than the standard one, and did not regret it at all. 1) - 15% discount when booking from the site (now this is a ridiculous price in St. Petersburg) 2) a decent breakfast for a 3* hotel (cereal, hot, butter, jam, tea, coffee, milk, different every day: scrambled eggs, pancakes and casserole) 3) near the subway 4) next to the Neva (walked in the evenings) so everything is cool! at the expense of the staff - everyone was friendly, especially Ekaterina !!! ) Special thanks to her)) and the Chinese manager, a very responsive girl)) Minu - no elevator. … More ▾ The size of the room made a huge impression. On the evening of 08/24/2011 I stopped at the hotel to hand over the documents to the person who lives there.
There were 2 girls behind the counter, one of whom was free, the second was talking to people.
I asked to call the person in the room and inform him that I was waiting for him downstairs to hand over the documents, explained my problem by the fact that the battery on the phone had run out, and it was not possible for me to contact him on my own.
One of the girls said that the computer is currently occupied by the second girl, and when she is free, she will help me.
Freed, the second girl listened to me and asked the question "What room does he live in? ".
- I do not know.
- Then I can't call him.
- You can not see in your database in which room a person lives?
- NO I CAN NOT. I WILL HAVE TO REVIEW EVERY NUMBER.
- I can tell you the name of the person and the date when he stopped by.
- I CAN'T, I WILL HAVE TO REVIEW ALL THE NUMBERS FROM THOSE WHO HAVE DONE THIS DAY.
- Can you help me somehow?
- Tell me the number where he lives.
I repeated once again that I don’t know and that I had agreed to inform him of my arrival, but my phone battery was dead... "I CAN'T LEAVE EVERYTHING NOW AND START DEALING WITH YOUR QUESTION... I HAVE A LOT TO DO. "
Next, I asked if they could help me turn on my phone (I had my charger with me). To which she received the answer: "NO! WE HAVE ALL SOCKETS BUSY. "
Then I sat on the sofa near the reception, then went downstairs, behind the sofas near the cafe-bar I saw an outlet, asked if I could plug the charger into it, if it was working. To which I again received the answer "I DON'T KNOW! ".
I WANT TO NOTE THAT THIS GIRL SAID ALL THIS WITH AN UNPLEASANT TONE AND AN IRRITANT VOICE.
ALSO SHE DID NOT ASK ME TO WAIT ANY TIME WHILE SHE WAS FREE. ALL MY REQUESTS WAS SIMPLY REFUSED.
It becomes sad for your service, or rather its absence.
Next time I will think 100 times whether to book a room in your hotel for a person who comes on a business trip from our company.

We went to the Beijing Garden Hotel in St. Petersburg. If you need a clean sleep, then this is your option. Everything else is not here. We arrived at 7 in the morning, asked in advance if it was possible to leave the bags before check-in, they said it was possible. They arrived and we were right at 7 in the morning and settled (and they were supposed to be at 12). this is the only plus in my opinion
Breakfast - not tasty, not enough, nothing at all. did not eat at all.
In the rooms - not very well stretched sheets, in May it was cool and we were freezing (there was a very strong draft from the window), they gave us a room - "Soviet Union" (no frills).
In the toilet, in general, the picture is - you will take a shower, you can not go in for half an hour, because. all the water remains on the floor... and also, as noted in another review, you have to wait 7 minutes for the water to warm up . . very uncomfortable.
the hair dryer was asked from the cleaner, it works for 2 minutes and turns off (like overheated)))) I thought everything was broken . . you have to pay . . the next day the same story... turns on, dries for 2 minutes, dies)))
when we needed something to sew on, there were no threads and needles in the whole hotel! bought in the center for 150 rubles.
in general, prices will be high in Russia for a very long time!!!
and the service is "Chinese" sorry)))

They didn’t leave hungry from breakfast, everything is clean, cleaners go around, they wash something all day, although the hotel is already so clean. It is not clear where the negative reviews come from, we initially doubted - but chose the hotel because of the parking. In fact, we didn’t see any of the negative reviews, but were only happy
)))
Next time there will be a discount

A double standard room for 3700 per day in the Peking Garden mini-hotel on Tallinskaya 11 was booked a few days in advance, several reasons seduced at once: relatively inexpensive price, 10 minutes walk to the station. Novocherkasskaya metro station, advertising rooms from 20 sq. m, a large swimming pool and sauna free of charge for hotel guests from 7 to 10 am as well as the availability of a 24-hour. … More ▾ A double standard room for 3700 per day in the Peking Garden mini-hotel on Tallinskaya 11 was booked a few days in advance, several reasons seduced at once: relatively inexpensive price, 10 minutes walk to the station. Novocherkasskaya metro station, advertising rooms from 20 sq. m, a large swimming pool and sauna free of charge for hotel guests from 7 to 10 am as well as the availability of a 24-hour. per day of the cafe-restaurant Chinese policeman.

At first glance, everything looked very good - a cozy lobby in the hotel, air conditioning in the room, stylish beds and furniture, double-glazed windows that cut off noise from the street, a TV phone and an electric kettle .......There is a stamp on the back of the guest's card indicating a discount 15% upon re-occupancy! !

What actually happened...
- the residential part of the room is about 3x3.5 m in size plus a bathroom - the total area of a double room including a bathroom is about 12 sq. m
- the air conditioner, no matter how you regulate it, constantly blows on one of the beds, as a result, sleeping with the air conditioner on is possible only if you wrap yourself well so that it doesn’t blow. .
- the remote to the 20 inch box called Sharp does not work, which I immediately got tired of watching in the evening due to the nauseating quality of the antenna signal. .
- for 4 days of stay, the room was cleaned 1 time, which seemed to consist only in changing bed linen and towels ...(2 towels per person)
I discovered the quality of cleaning while shaving with an electric razor while sitting on the floor in the room, since the socket in the bathroom next to the mirror did not work ...(dust on the floor interspersed with hair and baseboards that had not seen a wet rag for weeks)
- there is no elevator as a class, on the 3rd or 4th floor with things on foot. .
- the service staff in the hotel is mostly Chinese, very poorly understanding Russian (I tried it in English with the same effect) with a little interspersed with Slavic nationalities. .
for 4 days, neither in the cafe nor at the "reception" did not see almost a single smile ...
- breakfast included in the price can be called "what you ate, what you washed. . "
- things in the room can be stuffed into the TV cabinet or hung on a floor hanger, as there are no wardrobes in the room. .
- the next morning at 7 am, he diligently tried to enjoy the free sauna (the concierge assured that it was a real Russian steam room and sold an oak broom for 120 rubles. . )))
- after about an hour, a semblance of hot water flowed from the hot tap in the shower, as a result of which the broom could not be brewed at all,
maybe of course it was not the temperature of the water, later came the hunch that the broom before me could be sold a few more times
and thoroughly dried.
- a steam room for a C with a plus, we managed to sweat a little in the end ...
- a large pool consists of 3 fonts next to each other, each measuring approximately two by two and a half meters, maybe
a little more...
- of the two lighting bulbs on the ceiling in the room, only one was on (the economy, of course, should be economical. . )))
- on the second day in St. Petersburg, somewhere around 13.40, I returned with my wife to the hotel with the hope of relaxing in the room for a couple of hours, take a shower, take a nap or just relax..........
- it turned out that this should be done after about 15.30 when loud-mouthed Chinese (please don’t consider it a nationalist) maids disappear from the floor, who during their activities turn the entire floor into an "oriental bazaar" to put it mildly ...
- a day later, the story repeated itself with a small addition that despite the sign do not disturb in Russian English. and Chinese, at the door
after a long shameless knock, the maid broke in with the text "once a day the room must be cleaned" ......
- Finally, a separate song about the bathroom. .
- there is no curtain in the shower, as well as cups for toothbrushes...
- the taps in the shower are ordinary twists, it is better not to touch the bar for attaching the watering can in order to avoid falling to the floor. .
- there is no forced exhaust, but there is forced ventilation .....
- the faucet in the sink is also not fixed, probably very convenient for pouring a bucket for washing the floor or a kettle. .
- in principle, you can sit on the toilet, but be careful - it vibrates ... , also from under this miracle of plumbing there are constant drips of water and
on the floor around it and also a tulip, a wonderful color of rusty-white sealant (or I don’t understand something in aesthetics)
- a small roll of toilet paper that dissolves perfectly in water ended irrevocably on the third day. .
- well, and the most important thing - water from the taps in the bathroom with a terribly nasty smell of industrial chlorination, like for swimming pools,
BRUSHING YOUR TEETH, WASHING AND SHOWING ONLY IF NEEDED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ! ! ! !
- I almost forgot, there is no heated towel rail either, just a hanger under the ceiling as many as 4 rows ...you can hang not only
towels, but also socks washed in the evenings, should be dry by noon the next day ...
- well, probably everyone draws a conclusion for himself ........cramped room with broken plumbing and leaving much to be desired service ....

PERSONALLY I AM IN THIS CHINESE GARDEN NO MORE FOOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ! ! ! ! !
