My friend and I decided to visit Karelia on our own. Through the Internet and according to the reviews of tourists, we chose the Karelia Hotel in Kondopoga. I booked a budget double room for 5 nights from August 14 to August 19.2017 through the Booking. com website for 7200 rubles. We arrived from Moscow by the branded train "Arktika" to the city of Kondopoga at 17.45. For 60 rubles. From the station in 10 minutes we took a taxi to the hotel.
Accommodation. The reception is located on the 2nd floor. The elevator only works from the 2nd floor, so we had to carry the suitcases ourselves. Placed quickly, settled in room 317 on the 3rd floor. The staff is friendly and courteous which is very important.
Number. Small in size, 2 beds separated by a bedside table, 2 towels per person, TV (3 channels), wardrobe, mirror, suitcase stand, 4 hangers (hangers), bathroom: shower tray, small sink, toilet. Room cleaning. Leaves much to be desired. Bed linen and towels for 5 days were never changed. Several times, having arrived from an excursion at 01.00 at night, they asked the reception to remove the garbage from our room! , and in the morning to change an empty bottle in the cooler on the floor).

on Saturday at 10.00 we had to vacate the room due to the conditions of the hotel.
